Everybody rides
No skill, no lessons, nothing but laughing until it hurts
Two speeds, and you pick
Inside the wake at a modest speed, a tube ride is a gentle bounce that a nervous kid will love. Swung wide outside the wake at full speed, the same tube becomes a slingshot that launches riders across boat rollers. Same tube, same boat — entirely down to how the driver turns. Agree on hand signals before anyone gets in the water.
Making it fair for mixed groups
This is what tubing is genuinely best at. A group with wildly different skill levels can all take turns on the same toy, and it fills the stretch of the afternoon when the surfers are tired and the water has gone choppy. It is also the easiest way to get a hesitant first-timer comfortable being towed at all.
Rules that keep it fun
One at a time unless the tube is rated for more, a life jacket on every rider without exception, and a spotter facing backwards the entire time — Florida law requires an observer, and it is the only way the driver knows someone came off. We cover all of it in the ramp-side briefing.
