Where each one gets you

The choice is really about where you are headed.

North launch for the Gulf and the beaches. South launch for Keewaydin and the bay. Goodland for the Ten Thousand Islands, the dolphins and the Everglades. If you are not sure, tell us where you are staying and we will pick.

Wiggins Pass and the nearshore Gulf

From Cocohatchee

8 minutes

Straight out the river mouth into open water. On a calm morning this is the best wakesurfing water in Collier County.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park beach

From Cocohatchee

10 minutes

Anchor off the north end of the park and wade in. The closest true Gulf beach stop to any of our ramps.

Cocohatchee backwaters

From Cocohatchee

2 minutes

Mangrove-lined and protected. Where we go when the Gulf is bumpy or the wind gets up.

Barefoot Beach and Little Hickory Bay

From Cocohatchee

20 minutes

North along the beach toward Bonita. Shelling on the bars and almost no boat traffic midweek.

Keewaydin Island

From Bayview

15 minutes

Eight miles of road-free barrier island. Beach the boat on the bay side and walk across to the Gulf.

Gordon Pass

From Bayview

20 minutes

The south entrance to Naples Bay and the classic place to watch a Naples sunset from the water.

Rookery Bay

From Bayview

25 minutes

110,000 acres of protected estuary. Idle speed, resident dolphins, and no houses on the shoreline.

Northern Ten Thousand Islands

From Bayview

35 minutes

The top edge of the island maze. Reachable on a full day — but Goodland is the smarter way in.

Coon Key Pass and the first islands

From Goodland

10 minutes

Out the channel past the Coon Key light and the island maze opens up in front of you.

Dolphin water in Gullivan Bay

From Goodland

15 minutes

Resident bottlenose dolphins work these passes all year and routinely ride boat wakes here.

Secluded shelling beaches — Cape Romano and the outer keys

From Goodland

25 minutes

Gulf-facing sand with no road to it, no concession stand and usually nobody else on it.

Everglades backwaters toward Everglades City

From Goodland

40 minutes

Mangrove tunnels, tidal creeks and flat protected water on the western edge of Everglades National Park.

How the meet-up works

Nothing to tow, nothing to figure out.

There is no marina office to check in at and no paperwork at the ramp. We text you a pin the night before, you park, and you walk down to a boat that is ready to go. That is true at all three ramps — the only difference in Goodland is the flat $120 that gets the boat down there.

  1. 01

    The night before

You get a text with the exact meeting pin, a parking note and the weather read for your window.

  2. 02

    Fifteen minutes before

We launch and tie up at the courtesy dock. Boards, tubes, ropes and jackets go on board.

  3. 03

    At the dock

A ten-minute briefing on the boat, the surf system, the local channels and the no-wake zones. Then your clock starts.

  4. 04

    At the end

Back at the ramp before dark — dusk is a hard stop. We take the boat out and you drive home.
